You can use these directions to confirm if your Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is enabled and active before answering the question on the form.

1. Open the Start Menu
2. Open Settings
3. Click on System
4. Click on About
5. Under “Related settings” on the right, click on BitLocker settings.  (If you don’t see this, expand the window size horizontally and it should appear.)

1. Under the “Status” section, confirm the status reads “The TPM is ready for use” to verify it is enabled.
2. Under the “TPM Manufacturer Information” section, verify a Specification Version is shown.  Ideally it would be Version 2.
