External Service Health

This service provides external service health monitoring. This is provided by a third party with a globally distributed network of testing points.

What is this good for:

Testing the health of services from an offsite perspective.

What is this not good for:

Monitoring detailed health metrics such as disk usage, CPU utilization, etc.

How is CIT supporting this:

CIT will fund this service for internal usage and consumption by other units that utilize CIT services.

How do I get this:

This service will be provided based upon accompanying services usage such as hosted VM’s or hosted websites.  Additionally if you would like to monitor your own systems with our tools please put in a ticket into our support portal or send an email to cit.support@wsu.edu..
