On August 5, Information Technology Services (ITS) enabled descriptive tags for WSU Qualtrics surveys. All surveys, including those created prior to August 5, must follow the new tag process for successful publishing, which ensures survey organization, reporting, and equitable billing to each college.
WSU implemented this change due to the growing cost of the Qualtrics software package, with FY26 costs for CAHNRS expected to rise significantly due to non-academic use. To reduce future cost for CAHNRS, please seek alternatives to Qualtrics for non-academic response surveys. Alternative form and survey tools are available through WSU licensing, including:
– Microsoft Forms
– WordPress Gravity Forms
